Ghost Light

Ghosts appear and fade away. The haunting last song of the Kaua’i'o’o bird was heard

over 30 years ago. A duet that was never joined. Its song went unanswered. Now, in a

thick forest fast approaching dusk, a stranger hears the ghostly song of the bird coming

deep from the forest. Drawn in from the song, the stranger enters deeper into the forest,

as the last light of the day disappears. As the forest comes alive, and shadows move, will

the Kaua’i’o’o be heard once more?
