Halifax Fringe Presents:
Breaking Down Barriers into Theatre Workshop

Halifax Fringe Festival is hosting a workshop series called Breaking Down Barriers Into Theatre. This series is for new and emerging artists who identify as equity seeking artists.

The workshop will run May 17 & May 18 from 10:00am- 3:00pm AST. We are hosting 4 workshops at the Bus Stop Theatre Community Room. Each workshop will have snacks provided and will pay participants $50 / half day for their attendance to help remove the barriers of attending a workshop. Participants who attend all four workshops will receive an honorarium of $200 for their time. You do not have to be available for all 4 workshops to be able to attend.

There is space for 25 attendees, if more than 25 people sign up Halifax Fringe will use the lottery based system to decide for each workshop. You can sign up at the registration form below! We encourage in person attendance, but understand it is not accessible for everyone so have a zoom option available.

All workshops will be mask mandatory unless eating or drinking. Registration closes May 15 2024.
